The soldiers in the corps collect combat intelligence from the field and maintain the observation networks in designated observation lanes.
During the course the combats acquire various skills such as observation capabilities, orientation and adaptation in the field, camouflage, navigation and operating various weapons. Women must commit to a compulsory service of 32 months, active reserve duty and sign the document: "דין אישה כדין גבר" (The law that applies to a man also applies to a woman).

Profile 72 and above.
KBA (quality group level) -Men - no limit. Women 47 and above.
What does the role include?
Basic training 05 (Infantry corps) for 3.5 months + advanced training of 4 months during which soldiers undergo a special training for their role. Rifleman level 04 (“RAM” track ) for 2.5 months + advanced training for 4 months during which the soldiers undergo a special training for their role.
Where will I be placed?
In one of the operational companies. Those who are qualified will be able to go to designated courses such as a combat medic, combat driver and a shooting course as well as advance to command, training and officer positions.
The screening process:
In addition to the combat soldiers classification, those who are designated for the job will be sent for a security investigation and medical examinations. The screening is for girls only.
Placement in The Combat Engineering Corps is determined by a number of factors that are taken into account: your personal index and preferences as well as the Military's needs. There may be changes in the admission requirements mentioned above and additional considerations that are reflected in the status of your candidacy on this role. Those who are qualified will be given the option to proceed towards training courses, command and officer courses.
