The paramedics take critical care decisions when treating wounded or ill soldiers

The soldiers who serve as paramedics are in charge of carrying out life-saving medical procedures prior to evacuation to the hospital.

 

What are the admission requirements?

Profile 72 and above.

KBA (quality group level) - 54 and above.

DAPAR (The Primary Psychotechnic Rating Index) - 70 and above.

Girls are required to serve 32 months.

An only child is required to sign a voluntary declaration form.

 

Yom Hame'a scores (for girls only):

Human relations- 3 and above.

Command - 3 and above.

Field - 2 and above.

Teamwork 3 and above.

 

What does the role include?

Pre-military training of 4 months, basic training 03 and a 58-week training program that includes a four-month theoretical training course at the Military Medical School, a practical training course that includes training in the various departments of hospitals and mobile intensive care units in MDA and additional 2 months in which the soldier learns the profession in the military outline.  

 

Where will I be placed?

In the front units - battalions, divisions, elite units, military intensive care mobility and training bases.

 

The enlistment process:

The enlistment consists of one day, during which the candidates will pass theoretical tests, group simulations and personal interviews.

The placement as a Paramedic is determined by a number of factors that are taken into account: your personal index and preferences as well as the Military's needs. There may be changes in the admission requirements mentioned above and additional considerations that are reflected in the status of your candidacy on this role. Those who are qualified will be given the option to precede towards training courses, command and officer courses.
